Tim Wakefield’s Knuckler now available!

The longest serving member of the Boston Red Sox is set to release his first book in time for the 2011 MLB season opener!  Knuckler:  My life with baseball’s most confounding pitch is co-authored by The Boston Globe’s Tony Massarotti, and explores Wakefield’s life as a knuckleball pitcher.

Statue of Cam Neely unveiled in Maple Ridge

On February 23rd Cam Neely attended the unveiling ceremony for a wood statue carved in his likeness.  The statue will be displayed at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, where Neely played youth hockey.

The Cam Neely Sport Hero Carving was designed and created by world renowned chainsaw carving artist, Glenn Greensides, and is a project of the Maple Ridge Mountain Festival Society.

Jim Rice watches Blazers Game with RCN contest winners

Jim Rice appeared at a Boston Blazers indoor lacrosse game, where he dropped the starting ball, participated in the half time contest, and watched the game from a luxury suite with the contest winners!  Jim has been working with RCN since 2008.
