Jerod Mayo continues his charitable efforts off the field

February 14, 2013

New England Patriot’s star linebacker and Blue Sky client, Jerod Mayo, is having an equally positive impact off the field as he does on it.  This past September, Mayo raised $114,000 for Boston Medical Center and Pitching in for Kids through his 3rd Annual Mayo Bowl celebrity bowling tournament.  Mayo Bowl participants included family, friends, teammates, sponsors, and other fans who enjoyed a great night of bowling for a good cause.  The Patriot’s defensive captain also helped create the MayoZone in the Pediatric Emergency Department at BMC.  This area is specifically designed as a fun, playful space for sick children waiting for treatment.  The NFL season may be over, but Jerod Mayo continues to give back.

One Mission’s Gold Ribbon Gala is December 1st

November 21, 2012

Come and support One Mission in its quest to aid children in their fight against pediatric cancer. Experience an evening of inspirational messages through words and music. Enjoy delicious food and wine in the company of friends as we raise funds to fight this terrible disease.

One Mission was founded to provide help, hope, support and care to children and their families living with cancer. We provide funds that support programs and services which ease the burden of the many physical, emotional and financial challenges associated with the disease. Weekly family & siblings support groups, parking passes and food vouchers are just a few of the programs we support. Furthermore, we fund cutting edge cancer research.

The 4th Annual Gala is a celebration of our accomplishments to-date and our hope for a future without cancer. One Mission has raised over $1 million since March of 2009 and prides itself in being the largest community fundraising effort for Boston Children’s Hospital. Pediatric cancer still remains the second leading cause of death in children under the age of 15 and together we can make a difference.

We hope to inspire you…please join us in our mission.
