The Blue Sky client ends his 19 year career having spent the last 17 seasons with the Red Sox, the most for an active player. Wakefield has 200 wins with the team which puts him at third in team history for victories. He is second in games played as a pitcher and with the help of his famed knuckleball, has recorded over 2000 strikeouts. Rob Gronkowski gives ankle update at Superbowl Media Day
February 1, 2012Good news came to New England Patriots fans on Tuesday, January 31st, when media day for Super Bowl XLVI was held in Indianapolis: Patriot’s tight end Rob Gronkowski walked up to the podium without the help of his walking boot to answer questions.
Gronkowski suffered a high ankle sprain in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, January 22nd, and has not practiced with the team since. However, Gronkowski was all smiles at media day while updating his health as day to day and he continues to work with the training staff. He was not focused on if he will play Sunday, but instead on getting better each day.
The Patriots are hopeful that Gronkowski will be able to play on Sunday, as he is a significant part of their offense. We hope Rob has a speedy recovery and is ready to beat the Giants on Sunday!

January 31, 2012The Tim Hortons 2012 NHL All Star Game was held this past weekend in Ottawa, where fans came out to cheer on their favorite hockey players. The game and skills competition are held each year to spotlight the most talented players in the league. This year, the two captains were Daniel Alfredsson from the Ottawa Senators and our own Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara. Tim Thomas, Tyler Seguin and the Bruins coaching staff were also chosen as all stars and participated as a part of Team Chara.
History was made during the skills competition when Zdeno Chara won the hardest shot contest with a speed of 108.8 mph, beating his own record, set last year at 105.9 mph. He also competed in the skills challenge relay. Tyler Seguin returned to the skills competition for a second time where he competed in the elimination shoot out and accuracy shooting. Tim Thomas displayed his talents in the third period during the All Star Game. This was Thomas’ fourth straight All Star Game win, which beat the record he previously held of three straight wins. With the help of Thomas’ quick saves and Chara’s third period goal, Team Chara held on for the victory with a score of 12-9.
